Javier Ángel Encinas Bardem (born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, 1 March 1969) is a Spanish actor, who won the Goya Awards, Golden Globe, Oscar, BAFTA and Screen Actors Guild. It was the first Spanish actor to be nominated for an Academy Award in 2000 and first Oscar win in 2007. He has maintained a relationship with the presenter and actress Belen Rueda, and since 2007 is living a romantic relationship with the Oscar-winning actress Penelope Cruz, who worked alongside the already in the early nineties in the film "Jamón, jamón" .
